Apple or Pear Teff Crisp
Nothing says autumn like a cinnamon scented fruit crisp. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream while still warm to make it extra special.

Ingredients
- 4 large apples or pears (1½-2 lbs), thinly sliced
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup of apple or pear juice
Crisp ingredients
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup of Maskal Teff™ flour
- ¼ cup of rice syrup or maple syrup
- ¼ cup of unrefined corn or canola oil
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place fruit in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt. Cover with the juice.
- Mix together all the crisp ingredients. Crumble on top of sliced fruit.
- Bake for 30 minutes for apples and 45 minutes for pears, or until the crisp is crunchy and the fruit is soft.
