Ingredients

  • 2 cups Maskal Teff flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 2 T. butter, melted

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine lightly beaten eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  3. Whisk the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Ladle into hot waffle iron and cook until edges are crisp.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries and maple syrup.
